FESTUS C. AHAOTU

Mr. Ahaotu is a distinguished insurance professional with over two decades of experience in the life insurance industry. He is a Professional Member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (Chartered) and an award-winning Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN).

Before his appointment as Managing Director/CEO in 2011, Mr. Ahaotu played a pivotal role at Capital Express Assurance Nigeria within the Agency Operation and Branch Operation Divisions. His efforts were instrumental in establishing several successful branch offices across Nigeria. He also secured and managed multiple Group Life Assurance and Welfare Insurance Schemes for leading blue-chip companies and institutions, showcasing his expertise in client relationship management and business development.

A former Secretary General of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria, Cross River State Chapter, Mr. Ahaotu now serves as the Chairman of the Life Offices Committee and is a member of the Technical Committee of the Insurance Association of The Gambia (IAG).

Throughout his career, Mr. Ahaotu has undergone extensive training, both locally and internationally, honing his skills in enterprise risk management, product design and development, technical operations, strategic business development, and corporate governance. His broad experience and strategic vision continue to drive the success and growth of Capital Express Assurance.
